This little cutie is a neighbor of mine, and I was thrilled when her parents asked if I could take one year photographs of her. I mean look at her! She can make any photographer look good. She was so sweet and the perfect candidate for a cake smash. When we first began, I was worried when I couldn’t get her to smile or sit still, but as soon as that chocolate cake showed up, she was little miss model! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

And on a sidenote, this is my first photoshoot that I did not use any presets. It is scary without that crutch and there is so much growth to be made, but I was pleased with the outcome. And I am so excited to be exploring and finding my “sweetwilliams” style!

I am actually using the Nikon D3100 (one the lowest entry level bodies Nikon makes) and the 35mm 1.8 Nikkor fixed lens. I am currently saving saving saving for a new camera body and 50mm 1.8. I love fixed lenses.
