One day in October I was driving down a road I frequent often and saw the most glorious forest set ablaze in yellow. I’ve never seen anything like it. I wanted so badly to take its picture, sure I’d never see anything like it again (which i haven’t and am still sure I won’t). That’s the thing about light. There are once in a lifetime moments. Time of year, time of day, atmosphere, location, and environment all play off of each other and that’s a lot to line up exactly the same twice. But on that particular day there just wasn’t time. It was my Tuesday hustle. I was hustling home to get kids off the bus after grocery shopping, so I just took it in as we passed by. But I came back to the same park later in the week and this is what we found. It was still glorious. And the littlest boys had fun.
