Noah, who will be 9 in twelve days, has been gone for four days now. It already feels like much longer, and I miss him terribly. He is in Ohio, fishing, golfing, going to the movies, and generally just being spoiled. The house is too quiet.
Before he left he gave me something that I would like to share. He wrote a song. I don’t know where this kid gets it from, but he rocks.
Song:
Oh, my Lord how I love you.
I thank you for all the stuff you do Lord.
Oh, my Lord how I love you.
I just thank you for all the things you do.
Lord I believe you died for us to save us from our sins.
You have created beautiful things that I love.
I thank you for creating me Lord.
I thank you for creating moms and dads so someone would take care of children.
Thank you for giving people water and food so they could live.

This touched my heart. Maybe it will touch yours too? The faith of a child.
Personally, I have come to realize that I need to be praising God more. The lesson started during worship at church a few weeks back, it continued while reading in the Psalms: “worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs” (Psalm 100:2), and now my son is schooling me ;o)
